"I attended a Maori cultural story telling by Hemi and it was a truely fascinating experience. Hemi talks about his family history from thousands of years back, which gives a unique insight in Maori mythology and history. I have experienced many Maori tourism products before, but this indepth account provides a different perspective from someone that is very much in touch with his culture. It will stay with me for along time.
I would recommend this experience to anyone that is interested in learning more about "living Maori history and culture." - Marijke Dunselman - 07/10/2008 Awatuna and the Environment![]() Kia whakatu tika Te Tai Ao me te Tai Ao tiaki Te Tai Ao (If the environment is kept well and strong it will look after itself) To know more follow this link >> |
